High-Up Cafe had its grand opening!

On January 10, 2017, High-Up Cafe had its grand opening and on its first day they offer a sweet treat for the customers. During its grand opening, student's from different universities visits High-Up cafe. The most ordered food at the manu during its grand opening are the buffalo wings with lemon aioli dip and the longganisa and sinangag with egg. But aside from these there's still a lot of must try in their menu that will surely satisfy your tastebuds and will keep you coming back for more!

The main purpose of the institute is to supplement additional trainings based on the acceptable global standards and other requirements of the industry, to provide programs that promote employability and to create innovative ways for students’ additional learning.

HIAP offers Culinary Shipboard training, food & beverage training programs in order to meet the requirements of various international cruise lines and land based hotel establishments. It also offers short course programs for Hospitality and Tourism Management that caters for Senior High students, college students and professionals. A customized training program is also available for students and professionals who wish to undergo half day or whole day training seminar-workshops based on the topic of interest.

Hospitality Quality

Endorsed by Department of Education (DEPED), Department of Tourism, Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) and Philippine Overseas and Employment Administration (POEA), and other government related sectors.

International Certificates

Students completing all the requirements will be issued a Certificate of Completion which is classified as International Certificate of Hospitality Institute of America.


The HIAP training center is equipped with International Standard Kitchen Facilities, High-Up Café (fully- functional café), Spacious Training Room, Well-designed Hotel Guestroom, Linen Room, Laundry Facilities and Reception area. These training facilities aid in the development of the skills and competencies of the students through intensive hands-on trainings and seminars needed by the Hospitality and Tourism Industry.

Modern kitchen facilities with eight (8) working areas which can accommodate 20 students. The kitchen operations observe ServSafe procedures to ensure International culinary standards.

A fully-functional café which offers variety of American, Italian, Filipino cuisines and delectable desserts and beverages.

HIAP training room is equipped with Audio-Visual facilities and instructional materials to guarantee the students with globally competitive trainings.

A 20 sq. m. fully-furnished twin guestroom as venue for housekeeping training. This also includes linen room and laundry facilities.

A training facility for front desk operations trainees which includes welcoming guests, check-in and check-out procedures, advanced customer care program and personality development.
